I have a ton of fun owning a Real Estate company and I think it shows in my work and my drive, but after a day like today I can’t but think how rewarding and amazing my job is.

Today was once again another Greatest Day in Real Estate because of my interactions with other agents and colleagues to start.  I woke up this morning excited to be having a coffee and chat with a fellow agent at my favorite meeting spot McDonalds.  It was nice to catch up and hear about his success as he grows his business.  There are so many fantastic agents out there to stay in touch with and beginning our day catching up was fulfilling and time well spent.

Another reason today was the Greatest Day in Real Estate at WKRP Indy was my lunch with a team member at Piada.  I know it seems like I spend a lot of time at restaurants (my bookkeeper can confirm this) but its a great way to add pause to a chaotic day.  Taking time to discuss goals and plans to develop together is invaluable and I may have gotten away from that as I chased my own broker business.  I left that lunch full from whatever it is they serve there and with joy that I have the opportunity to plan with a friend.

Another reason today was the Greatest Day in Real Estate at WKRP Indy was my afternoon meeting with a friend for several years looking to raise money and start a rather large business.  Being asked to be the Real Estate expert and for all around professional advice is humbling but its an honor and I take it very seriously.  You work hard to improve the outcome of your clients’ endeavors and during this meeting we tackled one issue after another as a team and hopefully kept our client on the right track.  Being a small part of this process brings a huge reward to me and I think its kind of a thrill to engage.

The last reason today was the Greatest Day in Real Estate at WKRP Indy was my coming home and having a beautiful healthy dinner with my gorgeous family.  We spent many days and nights apart building a business and chasing dreams but have found sitting down and having that 30 minutes of laughing and being united is the greatest gift a dad can receive at the end of a terrific day working.

You have some terrible days and you have setbacks but it’s always what I make of it in the end.  Its having spent enough time fighting what’s going to happen or ignoring the special moments to be busy but realizing those are just seconds of a 24 hour day.  I am grateful and proud of starting and finishing a day just like I had dreamed I would and will always look forward to another great day just like it.
