How are things going?
So much is happening in the Real Estate world, especially in Westfield Indiana. As we come out of a stagnant 2024 and into an exciting 2025 there are a few things I am personally looking forward to.
- A vibrant development culture. Westfield and Northern Hamilton County have been torn between fast paced commercial development and preserving its history. In turn we have ended up with a very high growth in residential properties. With the new Westfield Mayor and his team I am looking forward with several mixed use developments as well as attracting more corporate and industrial users. This will only help the tax base and offer additional amenities for the residents.
- Downtown. Downtown Westfield especially the Grand Junction Plaza is on fire. On a given Thursday or through the weekend we will have thousands of visitors for a concert, farmers market or kids event. It has transformed Westfields city center and will only help continued development. In the coming years we will be well served by local businesses, new housing and gathering spaces.
- Heading North. As I plan for 2025 I am constantly seeing opportunity to the north for development and investment. We are lucky to have a forward thinking Hamilton County that has leveraged the acces the New US 31 has brought to the region. We are now talking about sites all the way up to 276th st and both east and west of 31.
